Handog ng Pangulo Brings DTI Services Closer to Bukidnon Entrepreneurs

MALAYBALAY CITY, Bukidnon — Entrepreneurs and consumers in Bukidnon gained easier access to government services as the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) brought its frontline assistance closer to communities through Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat para sa Lahat on September 14 at Bukidnon State University.

The activity offered services designed to help micro and small entrepreneurs start, formalize, and improve their businesses.Among the services available were Barangay Micro Business Enterprise (BMBE) Registration, Business Name Registration, and Business Counseling.

DTI-Bukidnon Provincial Director Famelah Racquel D. Villanueva said bringing government services directly to communities helps people who may have difficulty traveling to government offices.The activity also featured the Kadiwa ng Pangulo Diskwento Caravan, where consumers could purchase essential goods and other products at affordable prices.

A Consumer Assistance Desk was also set up to help residents with complaints and provide information about their consumer rights and available remedies.

Business owners seeking financial assistance were also provided with Small Business Corporation (SBC) Loan Application Assistance, including information on financing programs and loan requirements.

One of those who received assistance was entrepreneur Julie Ampoeda, who said business counseling helped her understand how to manage and improve her business and comply with government requirements.Through Handog ng Pangulo, DTI-Bukidnon continues to bring business support, consumer assistance, financing information, and affordable goods closer to communities across the province.
