The United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) has filed a complaint before the Office of the Ombudsman–Mindanao against Cotabato City Election Officer Atty. Muamar A. Guyo over the alleged failure to post the list of Electoral Board members and substitutes for the 2026 BARMM Parliamentary Elections.
The party accused Guyo of possible neglect of duty, refusal to perform official duties, and violation of Section 5(e) of Republic Act No. 6713.According to UBJP, COMELEC Resolution No. 11258 required the appointment and posting of the Electoral Board list after its formation.
However, the party claimed that no list was found posted at the COMELEC office and Cotabato City Hall during their inspections on June 29 and July 4.UBJP is asking the Ombudsman to investigate the matter, hold Guyo accountable, and order the immediate release and posting of the Electoral Board list.
